Megilloth “It was to Happen Once” Album

In June 2008 Megilloth continued their musical career. There was some serious work on creating a new studio album. To make things right, drums were recorded live instead of a drum-machine used on the Demo EP. Session drummer was Geert Samuel from holland christian metal band Docile (now - Burial Earth).

One more portion of technical passages, singing transitions and interesting guitar solos draws attention. Again we hear deep lyrics about transience of Being and belief in the Creator. There is a play on the contrast of two elements: aggressive riffs with supporting extreme vocals and deep, even religious at times, sense of the lyrics.
Realization and acceptance of something great widens the horizons and breaks silly stereotypes.

В июне 2008 года группа Megilloth продолжила свою музыкальную деятельность. Проводилась серьезная работа над созданием нового студийного альбома. Для получения качественного материала партию ударных записывали вживую, в отличии от Demo EP, где использовалась драм-машина. Сессионным музыкантом стал Geert Samuel, ударник из голландской христианской метал-группы Docile (сейчас — Burial Earth).

Очередная порция техничных пассажей, певучих переходов и интересных сольных гитарных партий привлекает внимание. Мы вновь слышим содержательные тексты о быстротечности бытия и вере в Творца. Игра на контрасте двух разноплановых элементов: агрессивные рифы с поддержкой экстрим-вокала и глубокое, местами даже религиозное, содержание песен. Осознание и принятие чего-то великого расширяет горизонты, разрушая дурацкие стереотипы.
